Chapter Advisor

The Chapter Advisor fosters relationships and facilitates goals with the AAB, Chapter President, Entire Chapter, Greek Officials, Chapter Consultant, and the Regional President. Effective communication and regular interactions are key to ensuring accountability, mentorship, and alignment with goals and values

Alumni Advisory Board

The Alumni Advisory Board is a dedicated group of alumni members committed to supporting and enhancing our undergraduate chapter. They offer their professional expertise and support, helping the chapter continuously improve and reach its full potential. The board provides essential counsel and advice to chapter leadership, assisting in key areas such as academics, leadership, recruitment, and financial management.

Alumni Association

The Alumni Association serves as a link for MSU Pike alumni to stay connected. It maintains contact with brothers, the chapter, and the university and offers social networking opportunities. The AA hosts a variety of events, such as golf tournaments, Founders Day banquets, and homecoming festivities, fostering engagement and camaraderie. Additionally, the alumni association provides opportunities for members to support Iota Iota through volunteer service and financial contributions

Chapter Advisor

  • Chapter Advisor (Peter Schall) | The Chapter Advisor fosters relationships and facilitates goals with the AAB, Chapter President, Entire Chapter, Greek Officials, Chapter Consultant, and the Regional President. Effective communication and regular interactions are key to ensuring accountability, mentorship, and alignment with goals and values.

Alumni Advisory Board

  • Board Chairman (Mike Virkus)  |  Acts as the secretary of the alumni entity, sending out correspondence and assisting in filling gaps within the organization. Collaborates closely with the Chapter Advisor and the rest of the AAB to facilitate effective communication and operations.

  • Operations Advisor (Vacant)  |  Oversees internal and external operations of the chapter. Reports to the AAB monthly or bi-monthly, communicating weekly with the internal vice president/external vice president/cabinet members. Responsibilities could include reviewing the internal/external calendar, assisting in the planning of brotherhood events, alumni events, and coordinating training for the PR/Marketing Chairman.

  • Finance Advisor (Martin Hilliard, '92)  |  Advises the financial operations of the chapter, reporting to the AAB monthly or bi-monthly. Engages in regular communication with the Treasurer and the assistant treasurer, addressing tasks such as reviewing the semester’s budget, long-term financial planning, monitoring bank accounts, and overseeing auditing processes.

  • Recruitment Advisor (Craig Caimi)  |  Advises the recruitment operations of the chapter, reporting to the AAB monthly or bi-monthly. Maintains regular communication with the Recruitment Chairman and the cabinet. Other recommendations for the positions may include addressing recruitment plans, speaking at alumni night during Rush Week, and ensuring a continuous recruitment strategy.

  • Education Advisor (Vacant)  |  Oversees advising the Vice President of Membership Development and New Member Orientation. Reports to the AAB monthly or bi-monthly, maintaining regular communication with the relevant cabinet members. Responsibilities may include enhancing educational initiatives for new members and supporting the development of membership program.

  • Health and Safety Advisor (Vacant)  |   Advises on health and safety matters within the chapter, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols. Reports to the AAB monthly or bi-monthly, collaborating with relevant members to uphold a secure and healthy environment. Other responsibilities could include assisting to find speakers for chapter, being present during initiation, etc.

  • Ad Hoc Advisor (Tom Aubrey) | Provides support across various chapter needs and fills gaps within the organization. Collaborates with the AAB, Housing Corporation, and Chapter Advisor to ensure smooth operations and effective communication between alumni and active members. Tom’s extensive experience and dedication are vital in maintaining strong ties and supporting chapter growth.

  • President (Vacant)  |  Oversees the alumni association and coordinates all roles and responsibilities 

  • Vice President (Vacant)  |  Assists the association president and in recruiting active members

  • Secretary / Treasurer (Martin Hilliard, '92)  |  Oversees financial matters, maintains records, and facilitates communication within the board

  • Director of Membership (Vacant)  |  Organizes and oversees the alumni database and membership recruitment.

  • Director of Events (Vacant)  |  Primary coordinator of all alumni events

  • Director of Communications (Martin Hilliard, '92)  |  Primary organizer and developer of physical and electronic mailings, social media and websites

  • Director of Fundraising and Philanthropy (Vacant)  |  Primary coordinator of all fundraising and philanthropic opportunities​
