From Drab to Fab: A Stunning Bathroom Overhaul

We’re excited to announce the completion of the much-anticipated renovation of the second-floor bathroom! Early in spring 2024, Mike Virkus took the initiative to survey the e-board, outgoing livins, and incoming livins to gather the top priorities for improving the house. Among the ideas floated were kitchen updates, a new laundry room, and a complete overhaul of the second-floor bathroom, where the showers had long stopped working and frequent clogs plagued the toilets. Mike’s leadership didn’t stop there—when he discovered that nationals planned to allocate $24,000 to paint the bedrooms, he proposed that the guys take responsibility for painting and maintaining their own rooms, allowing the funds to be redirected toward the much-needed bathroom renovation.

A big shoutout goes to the guys in the house who stepped up and took care of their own rooms, ensuring those funds could be used for this $40,000 complete bathroom overhaul! Thanks to everyone’s efforts, we have a fully functional, modern bathroom that the entire house can enjoy!
